She obtained the authorization of Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) as a medical professional through passing their licensing exam to practice medicine in Sri Lanka. Subsequently, She completed a two-year internship in surgery and pediatrics. After which she worked as a RHO under Consultant Dr. Nalaka Gunawansa (Vascular and Renal transplant surgeon) in the field of nephro and vascular surgery. During the RHO period she also gained experience in the fields of sclerotherapy and minimally invasive surgical procedures both pertaining to the area of Aesthetic Medicine.
Then, she received her diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She also practiced dermatology under the guidance of Consultant Dermatologist Dr. K.P.N. Pathirana.
