Who doesn’t like to sleep like a queen? We all do! These are the few things I do to pamper myself every night. Yes, every night. It’s easy as long as you incorporate a few of these tips into your regular routine. So every time you wake up you feel a lot refreshed.

Before heading to the bathroom make sure you have checked your phone, set the alarm; just so that you don’t have to look at it again later. Also if you have the option of putting it into the blue light filter I would say do it so that it doesn’t interfere with your Circadian rhythms and melatonin.


Have a nice long shower with warm water. This helps me to calm my nerves and get ready for bed.


Straight after a warm shower most of the skin oils have got washed off so in order to replenish it use a moisturizer depending on the climate you live in. If you live in a colder climate use a thicker moisturizer and if you are in a hot climate use a light moisturizer.


Get used to a skincare regime that has a serum, moisturizer/ facial oil, under eye cream and any other treatments.

Drink lots and lots of water

I like to have a cup of tea but it’s always better to have a glass of water. Hydration is the key to natural beauty.

Remember that you don’t have to look at the phone if you still have to look at the phone just make it quick.

Last but not least moisturize your feet and hands. If you do choose to moisturize your hands make sure you DO NOT touch your face.

One other tip I I would like to recommend is to invest on silk or satin pillowcases. Few benefits that sleeping on a silk or satin pillow is Silky hair and less fine lines/wrinkles. If this sounds something that you’re interested in you should definitely try it out.
