Disable USB ports to prevent others from taking your data in Windows
Do you want to stop stealing your data in computer by USB devices? Using this simple trick, you will be able to enable and disable USB ports of your computer.

How to disable USB ports

Step 1 :- Click Start Menu and open “Run” Application.( if you can not find Run application. Type “Run” in the search               box of the start menu.)Step 2 :- Type regedit in Run and click ok to lunch The Registry Editor.

Step 3 :- Navigate toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> usbstor (some time this may be USBSTOR)

Step 4 :- Double click on start  in work area of  The Registry Editor.
Step 5 :-  Now change Value Data from “3” to “4”.

Step 6 :- Finally click on OK button.

Now connect any USB device to your computer. They will not work.

Now connect any USB device to your computer. They will not work.


This disables access to your USB connected devices. And do not use this if you have a USB mouse or a USB keyboards.
