After a person who is currently in your Facebook friend list has passed away, Facebook will memorialize the dead person’s account if a family member or friend submits a memorialization request.
If you would like a friend’s, Family member’s or love one’s Facebook account to be memorialized, Please Follow Little steps.

What happens when a person’s account is memorialized?

  • Facebook does not allow anyone to log into the account.
  • The account cannot be modified. (Disable to adding or removing friends, modifying photos).
  • Anyone can message to the account.
  • Memorialized Timelines don’t appear in public spaces. (Such as in suggestions for People You May Know, birthday reminders or ads.)

 

Steps to send a Memorialization Request

Step 1 :- Log in to your Facebook account ( The passed away person’s account should be in friend list of yours)

Step 2 :- Click below link
https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/651319028315841Step 3 :- Select the passed away one’s account from the list of “who passed away” Box. Step 4 :- Select the date of death in “When did they passed away” Box. Step 5 :- If you have any link to proof his/ her death (newspaper article  link, Images ,or else)  add it in “Proof of                       death” Box.  Then Finally click the “Send” Button.
